History: What’s cooler than being cool?
Personality:From the surface, Elsa is the picture of perfection, hair in place, responsible, controlled with everything in moderation. She has grown up knowing that she would one day become Queen of Arendelle, a Norwegian country. by the sea. She is studious, spending much of her time in her chambers or library with her nose in a book, most likely studying every subject under the sun in order to be a well-rounded ruler. By nature, she is introverted and a little awkward, though will rise to the challenge of addressing strangers if the situation calls for it.
Once upon a time, she once knew how to have fun, often indulging her little sister, Anna, in private snowball fights and snowstorms contained to unused ballrooms. That excess almost caused a tragedy in which she almost lost her sister, which in turn caused Elsa to retreat into her room, hiding away from the rest of the kingdom and, more importantly, her sister. Running away from her personal problems is one of Elsa's least attractive qualities; she thinks of herself as dutiful but when it comes to matters of the heart, she feels it better to leave those problems behind, not wanting to focus on the pain and negativity.
It's bottling her emotions and attempting to stay cool that leads her to her distressed outburst, partially caused by Anna's sudden demand for a wedding. After years of living behind closed doors, she decides to abandon her responsibilities and live on her own where she can be free, without anyone to potentially endanger. It takes yet another near tragic experience for Elsa to allow someone to unfreeze her own guarded heart when Anna sacrifices herself to keep Prince Hans from killing her sister. Grateful and changed, she decides not to push people away anymore, to open herself to others. Accepting herself, powers and all, leads to acceptance by her kingdom and she leaves the gates open so that others can enjoy her powers and she can finally meet her people.
Arriving in Teleios, she will be conflicted about feeling relieved not to have to worry about her powers and disappointed that she doesn’t have them because she was just learning how to value them the way she had when she was a child. Eventually, she will want to find a way to win back her powers and also return to Arendelle, where she is needed. Most of all, she will miss Anna because she has always been Elsa’s rock, though she doesn’t particularly want her to have to work off any debt. In fear, she may shirk her duties to begin with but will want to find a place for herself for the duration of her time here.

Prose Sample:In the thaw, Elsa had made the decision to keep the castle of ice. Anna had joked that it would be a wonderful tourist attraction and, well, the young queen couldn't help but agree. If they're to turn their courtyard into an ice rink, then they certainly can open the castle to anyone who cares to visit. It's strong and Elsa can easily make repairs if need be.
With her sister gone to spend time with her suitor (and his beloved reindeer), Elsa is left to her own devices, needing time to unwind after spending her entire day being surrounded by various people. It comes with the royal territory, but for someone of her disposition, it takes a toll on her. She's come here to catch her breath, in a way, only to find herself utterly startled by the sudden appearance of a foreign object in her castle - she hadn't even heard a crash!
Instinctively, Elsa pulls up a shield of ice, ducking behind her hands as she waits for the figure to emerge. Someone she’s never seen before! And they hadn’t thought to alert the queen to this new arrival. She lowers her defenses, only slightly, peering around the wall before she makes it disappear; her hands need something to do so she wrings them slowly over the front of her skirts.
"Ah - hello. What brings you here?"
